P. Bauman. Kontekstualizm. W: Powszechna encyklopedia filozofii. T. 5 s. 826).
Bądź tu mądry, i pisz wiersze!

Christus vivit pkt 198).

ANTROPOLOGICZNO-MORALNE ASPEKTY WYKORZYSTANIA ŹRÓDEŁ ENERGII

ANTHROPOLOGICAL AND MORAL ASPECTS OF THE USE OF ENERGY SOURCES

Abstract
The article presents the theological and moral view of the human approach to the natural environment, from which the human being acquires the energy necessary for functioning. The teaching from the Book of Genesis that all things were created for human being points out the mandate received by him and a special role in the world. Unfortunately, modern human being focused on possessing and overcome by the desire for using things freely, ignores the issue of internal development. He exploits and consumes the resources of the earth excessively and chaotically. This translates into an ecological issue to which Pope Francis refers in his Encyclical Laudato si’.

OD OSOBY DO PLURALIZMU SPOŁECZNEGO. WARSZTAT FILOZOFICZNO-SPOŁECZNY

FROM A PERSON TO SOCIAL PLURALISM. A PHILOSOPHICAL AND SOCIAL WORKSHOP

Abstract
It is certain that the concept of a person is projecting on the concept of society, which then draws the concept of social pluralism. If the concept of human being is incomplete or even incorrect, one cannot expect that the so-called a pluralistic society constructed on it will be adequate to the dignity of each human being and fundamental rights entitled to him. This article shows that concepts of the human being constructed based upon Marxism, existentialism or structuralism do not guarantee coming into being the fair and just socjety that would enjoy diversity, but in sensible unity, that is, simply the diversity of people, but deeply immersed in the well-read homogeneity of the social nature of the human being.

IMPLICATIONS TAKING PLACE BETWEEN CHRISTIAN FAMILY MODEL AND CULTURAL IMPERATIVES

Abstract
We are witnessing how modern families are undergoing many changes nowadays. Factors playing a crucial in facilitating this process, are usually listed as economical, political or ethical ones. Without undermining importance of any of them, one more aspect of human life, especially in the context discussed, is worth considering; namely – culture. Across the centuries, culture was a place where a man was promoted and inspired to act for the benefit of the community, which in turn, was founded on the family. Implications taking place in the culture affect the social norms and imperatives, which via ripple effect, affect the dynamics of the family life as well.

BOSKIE ATRYBUTYZAWARTE W SYMBOLU WĘŻA Z RDZ 3

DIVINE ATTRIBUTES CONTAINED IN THE SERPENT SYMBOL FROM GENESIS 3

Abstract
The mysterious dynamism of the snake, its extraordinary vitality and its seeming immortality through the periodic rejuvenation of shedding the old and appearing new each year must have instilled a sense of awe and invoked a powerful response in our earliest ancestors. The snake was consequently mythologized, attributed often with powers that could control the entire cosmos. The snake was the symbol of creative energy, and of immortality. The serpent is one of the most enigmatic symbols in ancient religious art and writing. The Hebrew word in Gen 3 rendered “serpent” is “nachash”, This word refers for that creature, but to the practice of enchanting, wizardry or revealing supernatural knowledge as well. It is evident that the account of the “fall of man” from Eden was adapted by biblical writers from pre-Judaic polytheistic traditions in which a divine and omniscient serpent, was pitted against the created order. It is for this reason that the serpent is stressed as demonic, in spite of the fact that the Genesis authors are compelled to harmonize their account with those of the surrounding peoples, and therefore must write that the serpent is a creature of God, but more “subtil” (Genesis 3:1) than any animal which the Lord God has made.

EXODUS SŁUŻEBNICZEK STAROWIEJSKICHZ KRESÓW POŁUDNIOWO-WSCHODNICHW LATACH 1939-1957

EXODUS FROM THE SOUTH-EASTERN BORDERLANDS OF ABMV IN YEARS 1939-1957

Abstract
The article presents the process of the complete cessation of the apostolic work of the Congregation of the Little Servant Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary Conceived Immaculate in the south-eastern part of the Second Republic of Poland. In 1939, 461 Sisters worked in 113 religious houses in the territory that was joined to the Soviet Union after the war. In the period from the Soviet occupation through the German occupation, the time of the Polish – Ukrainian conflict, expatriation in the years 1944-1947, and the second wave of resettlements in 1955-1959, all the religious houses stopped existing. Several sisters remained in the Ukrainian SSR and continued their apostolate among the local people to a limited extent. The last of them died in 1983.

MISTERIUM PASCHALNEW CZWARTEJ MODLITWIE EUCHARYSTYCZNEJ

THE PASCHAL MYSTERY IN THE FOURTH EUCHARISTIC PRAYER

Abstract
For centuries, the Church has been used in the Eucharist a prayer, known as the Roman Canon. One of the most important editorial problems of the new Eucharistic prayers was to determine which elements of the construction of the anaphora are necessary. To the most important were classified: thanksgiving and adoration of God the Father for the Paschal Mystery of the Son; words of consecration and a story of establishing with gestures, anamnesis – recalling and representing prayer. These elements includes The Fourth Eucharistic Prayer, which is also called the Canon of the history of salvation, the Canon according to the Greeks, the 4th anaphora, the ecumenical Canon. Its project was presented by C. Vagaggini, inspired by Eastern traditions. The fourth Eucharistic prayer has unchanging preface and does not allow any other than its own.

KOŚCIÓŁ PW. ŚW. STANISŁAWA I ŚW. WACŁAWAW ŚWIDNICY POD DUSZPASTERSKĄ OPIEKĄ JEZUITÓW W LATACH 1662-1776

THE ST. STANISŁAW AND ST. WACŁAW CHURCH IN ŚWIDNICA UNDER THE PASTORAL CARE OF THE JESUITS IN 1662-1776

Abstract

FEMALE ORDERS IN SILESIA IN THE MIDDLE AGES

Abstract
The purpose of the article is a synthetic presentation of the issues of female monasticism in Silesia in the Middle Ages. The nuns came from the higher realms, devoted themselves to prayer and work, and some of them were involved in bringing up and educating girls. The founders of monasteries were mostly rulers, whose daughters often received the positions of superiors. There were two choirs in the communities: the members of the first choir were obliged to observe the enclosure and saying the canonical hours, while the sisters of the second choir were allowed to leave the monastery in order to fix various living matters. Candidates for monasteries brought in monastic dowry and took the habits with the appropriate veil. The development of the network of female monasteries in Silesia took place in the thirteenth century. The communities came into being can be divided into monastic, canonical and mendicant orders. There were also numerous groups of women, called beguines, who took up to live in the towns and kept in their own work. In addition, there was a monk community of Madeleines, which was the only one that survived in Silesia from the Middle Ages to modern times.

TOD ALS NATURALES UND PERSONALES GESCHEHENBEI KARL RAHNER

DEATH AS A NATURAL AND PERSONAL EVENT BY KARL RAHNER

Abstract
There is a close unity between nature and the person, according to Rahner. So, consequently, this leads to the fact that death also has a natural and personal aspect. In agreement with Rahner, the first aspect is expressed in the Church’s teaching by claiming that death is the separation of the soul from the body and the personal aspect by teaching the faith about death as the completion of the pilgrimage and merit. The “ending of the state of merit” does not occur either after death or before death, but it is the inner moment of death itself. Therefore, Rahner concludes that death as the end of the state of pilgrimage and merit is to bring to the final act the basic moral attitude chosen in the course of life. For the first time in his life he has achieved a state of complete freedom and perfect consciousness. At the moment of death, every man has the chance to achieve a personal human act that is realized in perfect freedom and consciousness.

DZIAŁALNOŚĆ DUSZPASTERSKA, KULTURALNA I EKUMENICZNA LUBELSKIEJ WSPÓLNOTY METODYSTYCZNEJ W LATACH 1953-2018

PASTORAL, CULTURAL AND ECUMENICAL ACTIVITY OF THE METHODIST FELLOWSHIP IN LUBLIN IN THE YEARS 1953-2018

Abstract
The origins of Methodism in Lublin are connected with the person of Michał Rud (1907-1998) who, for many years, was a local preacher of the United Methodist Church in Lublin. At the beginning he organized Methodist services in his private apartment at 12 Kresowa Street, and in 1993 led to the opening of the United Methodist Church chapel at 5 Borelowskiego Street. After the death of M. Rud in 1998, the activity of the United Methodist Church in Lublin lost its initial impetus and gained momentum only from 2010 in connection with the activity of rev. Dariusz Zuber. After rev. D. Zuber took over the parish in Olsztynek in 2011, the development of Methodism in Lublin again lost its dynamics.

SELF-EDUCATION IN CRISIS: A PROPOSAL FOR THE MOVEMENT OF FAITHFUL HEARTS
Abstract
In the paper, self-education is described as a proposal for the Biblical course conducted with the Movement of Faithful Hearts. Members of MPH are determined to stay faithful toward spouse, God and Church despite adultery, divorce and abandonment. Self-education appears to be a stage of overcoming the crisis, a chance to restore relations with God and people. Four elements of self-education (critical self analysis, choice of a role model, self-control and autocritical reflection) were included into the Biblical course.
