PASTORAL MODEL OF CULTURE. TECHNICAL REMINDING OF THE FOUNDATIONS OF CIVILIZATION OF LOVE
Starting from Pope Paul VI is topical a call for building civilization of love. After detailed learning on it made by last popes one should be said that at present the civilization of love for the Church is suitable model of culture which is proposed to all over the world. Within this model there are four primacies: person before thing, ethics before technology, to be before to have and mercy before justice. The civilization of love besides promotion of two the most important commandments, adapts also an area of human amazement which is opened for misterium caritatis.

INTERACTION OR ONE-SIDED EFFECT? PERSIAN EFFECT ON BIBLICAL CONCEPTION OF ASMODEUS EVIL SPIRIT
The purpose of this paper is Asmodeus evil spirit conception. Demonic beliefs of people of the ancient Middle East are permeated each other, what was also reflected in the Bible. In a case of Amadeus certainly came to borrowing of this motive from the Persian culture. Whereby biblical image of Amadeus is not faithful mapping of his Persian equivalent. It is about borrowings at linguistic level and a way of doing this evil spirit. Thus, the borrowings do not concern main doctrinal contents which the hagiographer wanted to transmit. Main theological message related to activity of Asmodeus is infinitive power of God over the evil spirits.

W OBRONIE TOŻSAMOŚCI CHRZEŚCIJAŃSKIEJ (KOL 2,6-23)
Autor Listu do Kolosan (św. Paweł lub ktoś z kręgu jego uczniów), po otrzymaniu niepokojących wiadomości ze wspólnoty w Kolosach, stanął wobec problemu obrony tożsamości chrześcijańskiej. Z wiadomości, jakie do niego docierały musiało wynikać, że chrześcijanie w Kolosach zwrócili się (ponownie) ku różnego rodzaju naukom i praktykom religijnym, które w rzeczywistości oznaczały bezpośrednie czy pośrednie zakwestionowanie jedynej i wyłącznej roli zbawczej Jezusa Chrystusa jako absolutnego Pana dzieła stworzenia i zbawienia. Apostoł, odwołując się do zdobytego już doświadczenia życia chrześcijańskiego Kolosan, zachęca i nakłania ich, by świadomi przylgnięcia do Jezusa Chrystusa nie ulegali innym doktrynom. Artykuł ukazuje strategię Apostoła, zmierzającą do wykazania absurdalności powrotu do nauk i praktyk religijnych, które były tylko cieniem tego, co miało nastąpić wraz z przyjściem Chrystusa. Uwypukla najpierw rolę kluczowego stwierdzenia 2,6. Następnie zaś przedstawia jak – w oparciu o imperatyw: «Uważajcie, aby nie» (2,8), w trzech kolejnych ostrzeżeniach (2,8-15; 2,16-17; 2,18-19) i w ogólnym osądzie zakusów fałszywych nauczycieli (2,20-23) – odbiorcy Listu otrzymują światło na grożące niebezpieczeństwo oderwania się od Chrystusa. Autor artykułu, odwołując się do budowy i struktury Listu, wykazuje rolę poszczególnych elementów ostrzeżeń Apostoła i ich ukierunkowanie na wzbudzenie wśród chrześcijan w Kolosach świadomości i gotowości decyzji: albo życie z Chrystusem, albo jakakolwiek inna religijność, która ostatecznie jest „zaspokajaniem ciała”.

Troska o katechezę we wskazaniach I Synodu Diecezji Legnickiej
THE CONCERN FOR THE CATECHESIS IN THE INDICATIONSOF THE FIRST SYNOD OF THE LEGNICA DIOCESE
The article raises the issue connected with catechesis contained in Wskazania dotyczące posługi katechetycznej w diecezji legnickiej. It is a document of the first Synod of the Diocese of Legnica, which took place in the years 2007-2012. In the introduction the concept of “diocesan synod” was explained. After defining the term “catechesis” the relationship of catechesis with the pastoral ministry of the diocesan church was portrayed. Later, the pastoral workers have been introduced. Among them appeared: the whole community of the particular Church, bishop, presbyters, parents – the first catechists of their children, monks, nuns and catechists. This article concerns also the importance of the catechetical service in the diocese, parish and school environment. Attention was also drawn to the significant aspect, which is the permanent formation of catechists. In conclusion it was ascertained that analyzed synodal document emphasises the responsibility of the local church for catechization. This form of proclaiming the God’s word is accepted as the the mission entrusted by Christ to preach the Gospel. A fundamental demand is that catechesis should not be only confined to the religious education classes but also connected with the parish. Parish will be a convincing place and environment of the catechesis if it turns out to be the community, in which interpersonals bonds are shaped on the basis of the faith in the crucified and ressurected Jesus Christ. It should also result in understanding and conviction that faith in Christ with all its consequences is the response for various human problems in all circumstances of life.

IMPORTANCE OF THE FAIRY-TALE AS A LITERARY GENRE
IN THEOLOGY FOR DEPICTION OF HUMANISTIC VALUES
The fairy-tale as a literary genre plays a significant role in everyday and religious life. As opposed to the fable, which is a short literary form depicting one human feature of character, it stretches over time and presents the wholeness of human history; it encompasses a personal sphere and presents the wholeness of the individual and society. A fairy-tale reflects the culture in which it originates and also shapes it. It contains values that are important for humanity as such, readily recognizable in any culture. Its formal aspect and its contents are of great import. That is the reason why the fairy-tale may serve Christian spirituality and theology as an instrument and a wellspring of knowledge. Hand in hand with other literary genres and instruments used in theology it should be employed in constructing an integral theology that stretches beyond the classical theological system, combining the structural scheme with a lively narrative, the ontological and historical aspects.

THE HISTORY OF GYMNASIUM IN GŁUBCZYCE, OPOLIAN SILESIA 1752-1945
In the years of 1752-1945 in Głubczyce, Opolian Silesia was functioning gymnasium. At the beginning it was convent school of Franciscans. Since 1802 this school became the state school. In 1902 a new building of this gymnasium was built in which there is now the Adam Mickiewicz Comprehensive Secondary School Complex. A lot of outstanding graduates who reached high church positions or became prominent figures in the world of culture and science have completed this gymnasium in Głubczyce.

Feliks Koneczny and his work has already found his place in Polish science. The question on scientific profile of Koneczny however is still open. No doubts his achievements in the domain of history are vast. As theoretician of science on civilizations and drama critic is unquestionable authority. On the question of his political views it is difficult to classify him to one specific trend. One thing is certain, Koneczny was thoroughly catholic scholar who could reconcile believed faith with scientific accuracy.

The article reviews the Jewish society of the colony on Elephantine in the period of the first Persian Empire. In it is revealed the history of the diaspora of the period of post-Babylonian captivity, social factors, and religion, as well as a dating problem with sources. The history of the chosen nation consists not only of the pages of the Bible, but also of archaeological excavations and other historical materials. This is a story written on papyri, in Aramaic, not Hebrew – the history of people who cared about their religious identity.

CONTEMPORARY OBLIGATION OF THE BAN ON MAKING THE IMAGES
Ban of making the images has its source in the Bible in the Book of Exodus and Deuteronomy. This ban was to “protect” of God’s transcendence and monotheism. It was to inform that God of Israeli cannot be closed in the matter, nor identified with it. The history shows that the ban of making the images was questionable issue. Defenders of picture worship were among others: Basil the Great, Gregory of Nyssa and Gregory of Nazjanz. Basil formulated an important pastoral rule that worship of picture refers to that, who is presented, not to the picture itself. Second Council of Nicaea has ended disputes recognizing the cult of pictures as orthodox doctrine. The issue of making the images is still topical. It is connected with fantastic attachment of the human being to the image of God what was thought up by himself.

THEOLOGICAL ASPECT OF EPIPHANY ANTIPHONARIES IN THE ROMAN MISSAL OF PAUL VI
First part of the paper brings in history of ceremony name and its different versions. In this section the author moves also closer a genesis of coming into existence of antiphonary and describes its place in liturgy. Second part of the paper is focused on text criticism of the antiphonaries: entrance and communion, through showing the biblical context and the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic analysis. Final part of the paper is of theological resume nature in soteriological, Christological and eccesiological aspect. Moreover, the author compares texts of the antiphonaries with a song of “The sages of the world”.

This article presents the activities of the Office of Education gen. Haller in the government in exile in France and the UK in the years 1939-1941. The beginnings of the formation of the Polish education are not illustrated only based on the archives of the Polish Institute and Museum Gen. Sikorski in London and the State Archives in Warsaw, but also memories of Bishop Joseph Gawlina, Polish priest, who was acting as a field bishop of the Polish Army in England. This person is common as an observer of the most important events, he is respected by most politicians in exile: President Wladyslaw Raczkiewicz and general Sikorski.

Court model of behaviour is a little bit idealized ethical construction that was no doubt a subject of gentry aspirations. As a matter of fact however it placed more at the side of longings and dreams, far from real life. These efforts to achieve court sinecures were accompanied by depreciation of their values. Thus, parallel to the model was also anti-model. All of that together was translated into ethical incoherence which is placed between desire and its realization.

THE NEED AND FORMATION WAYS OF PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL MEMBERS
The pastoral councils have been regular element within the life of parish for several years. The number of them have increased during the last five years. In 2008 they were in 20% parishes, and in 2013 – in 80%. Such unexpected growth can be explained by not only requirements put by the bishop, maybe it is growth of awareness that laypersons should be much more involved in life of the parish community. Yet so that their involvement was fruitful, formation is needed. Unfortunately, as it is shown by research results, in most of the parish councils regular formation of their members is not practised. Mostly, the formation of pastoral council members took place during different celebrations, e.g. occasional speech or conference of the parish priest. Interviews conducted among members of the selected pastoral councils show that these persons discern a role of the formation and expect it from their priests. Within the scope of this reflection were presented formation activities of some dioceses in Tarnów, Legnica, Świdnica, Opole and Gliwice, as well as was put forward all-Poland initiative what was I National Congress of Parish Pastoral Councils which was held on 14-15 September, 2013 in Licheń.

CULTURAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE TEACHING OF RELIGION (A CONTRIBUTION TO THE DISCUSSION)
In the modern religion teaching an important place is occupied by different areas of the correlation with school education. One of them is the knowledge of the culture, which is scheduled in the first year of high school. Implementation of this subject in general education is made only at the primary level. Cultural knowledge in the teaching of religion, in line with the curriculum, includes not only the transmission of messages on the structures and mechanisms of culture, problems of contemporary culture, aesthetic and artistic value of works of art but also a recognition of function codes used and the interpretation of cultural products. It is considered to be important to develop skills of wise using of culture, being an active, creative, reflective and critical participant in the culture. This will involve assisting young people in distinguishing between destructive and constructive elements of culture, motivativating them to create culture based on the higher values, developing in young people the ability to understand the cultural heritage and the ability to use universal values in everyday life as well as creating cultural treasures for future generations. Therefore, the religion teacher is obliged to fulfill the educational tasks directly related to upbringing to culture and by culture. The fact how correlation of assumptions of religious education with the knowledge of the culture are implemented in practice requires in-depth empirical research.
